BreatheDivinity | Anime-Inspired Gym & Streetwear Apparel

BreatheDivinity is an anime, gym, and streetwear brand founded in 2021 by Gabe Deutsch in the Wisconsin/Chicago area. The brand designs hoodies, compression shirts, shorts, and sweatpants around one overlap most gym brands ignore: the mindset anime protagonists train with and the mindset it actually takes to build a physique in real life. No filler slogans — just apparel made by someone who watches the same shows and lifts the same weights as the people buying it.

What Is Breathe Divinity

Gabe Deutsch started BreatheDivinity in 2021 after noticing a gap in gym apparel: brands were either anime merch that fell apart in a washing machine, or gym wear with no personality. BreatheDivinity was built to be both — apparel that survives actual training sessions and still carries the anime references that got a generation of lifters into the gym in the first place. The name comes from the idea that “divinity” — your highest physical and mental form — isn’t given to anyone. It’s trained for, rep by rep, the same way a shonen protagonist grinds through arcs before a breakthrough.

Every category below is built around the same rule: it has to work in the gym first, and look right on the street second.

Hoodies

BreatheDivinity hoodies are the brand’s core piece — anime-inspired graphics on  cut oversized for layering over training gear or wearing on their own.

Compression Shirts

The compression shirt line is designed for actual training sessions — .

Shorts & Sweatpants

Cut for range of motion during squats, sprints, and leg day —  — with anime detailing that’s stitched or printed  so it holds up wash after wash.

Built for the Grind, Not the Hype Drop

BreatheDivinity doesn’t run on limited-drop hype cycles or influencer hauls. The brand is built for the person who trains at 5 AM before anyone else is awake, rewatches the same arc for motivation on a bad gym day, and measures progress in plates added, not likes gained. That’s the audience Gabe Deutsch built this for — and it’s why the apparel is designed to survive years of actual use, not just one photo.
